Using a state-of-the-art ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) system, Cyclops ANPR Systems Limited will help locate and recover your vehicle, at a fraction of the cost normally associated with vehicle recovery or repossession. 

Traditionally, vehicle repossession and recovery has been time consuming and costly.  Frequently these vehicles are hidden when the keeper defaults on the finance payments, leaving the Finance or Leasing Company with a substantial loss.  With the Cyclops ANPR system, missing vehicles can be easily traced and recovered.  

Certified Bailiffs

All Cyclops ANPR Systems’ vehicle recovery staff are Certified Bailiffs.  This means they operate to legal standards and have authority to clamp, remove your vehicle to a place of safety, and attempt to recover keys and log books, if required. 

Frequently, these missing vehicles are discovered when a Bailiff is instructed to recover a fine outstanding on a vehicle.  All too often, a Finance Company is also trying to locate the vehicle in question, as there has been a default on payments.  Before the Finance or Leasing Company can recover their property, they often have to pay the outstanding fines.  Traditionally, the cost of vehicle recovery is expensive and involves recovery companies, separate Bailiff Companies, and can amount to hundreds, if not thousands of pounds.

Cyclops ANPR System

The ANPR system used by Cyclops was designed by Bailiffs for Bailiffs, unlike the ANPR systems used by the police.  Each of the vehicles in the Cyclops fleet is fitted with 4 cameras, allowing the system to capture number plates including:

Those at high compound angles 
Square plates 
Inverse plates  
Number plates with no rectangular border

Cyclops ANPR system has been proven to operate with a 98 - 99% degree of accuracy.  The system can capture number plates on vehicles travelling at up to 120 mph. 

The Cyclops Bailiffs will undertake to locate your missing vehicles and can also clamp and remove them to a place of safety if required.  All that is required is your list of the vehicle registration numbers, last-known postcodes (in Excel or Access format), a hire-purchase or leasing reference number and you’ll be on the road to recovering your vehicles. 

How Cyclops ANPR Systems Operate

All the Cyclops vehicles are fitted with computerised ANPR camera systems.  Details of your missing vehicles are uploaded from your Excel or Access data to the Cyclops system.  Using postcode intelligence, the Cyclops Certified Bailiffs travel though the target area with the ANPR system recording the number plates of every vehicle.  The sophisticated system will pick-up moving, stationary or parked vehicles, both on the road and on driveways.  When the system recognises a number plate as being on its ‘wanted’ database, an alarm will sound, alerting the Bailiff to the vehicle’s presence.
